Education and Experience:

Terry earned his Masters degree in Counseling from National-Lewis University, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. Prior to joining the Baldwin Center team, Terry was very involved with the Center for a number of years staffing co-ed and men's weekends. He also completed a two year internship at the Center as part of his masters degree. In addition, Terry has been very committed to men's work and has led a program known as "Men's Fraternity, The Quest for Authentic Manhood." Prior to the Baldwin Center Terry had a financial planning practice and has also worked for Willow Creek Community Church, American Hotel Register, Andersen Consulting and Reed-Martens Construction Group.

At The Baldwin Center:

Well acquainted with the healing process, Terry is passionate about seeing lives changed. He is committed to helping clients live life freely so they may experience the full potential that God has created in them. Believing that healing journey to be very spiritual, Terry is committed to helping clients, who so desire, welcome God's presence, power, truth and redeeming love into their healing process. Terry works with individuals and couples, and co-leads one of the Center's co-ed therapy groups.

On the Personal Side:

After years of working on his own personal growth through individual and group therapy, as well as numerous intensive weekend experiences, Terry believes strongly that we can remove the walls and barriers that have been created in our lives. "This is our time in history and God has us here for a purpose. You can be sure it is a wild and grand adventure. We have been given everything we need to accomplish our purpose, we simply need to remove the obstacles that keep us from experiencing it."

Married in 2004, Terry enjoys a very supportive relationship with his wife. Together, they are highly committed to the healing journey in their own lives, and sharing with others God's redemptive work. Terry has been an avid runner for over thirty years and enjoys competitive road racing, mountain biking, hiking and fishing. A Purdue graduate, Terry has served on the board of Purdue's local alumni organization.
